Tetbury Badminton Club - Playing Competitive Badminton Since The 1930's
Mondays 8:15-10:15pm
2nd September 2019 - Late March 2020

About the Club

Tetbury Badminton Club was founded in the 1930’s, originally playing at the White Hart Hotel (now the Snooty Fox) in Tetbury. In 1997 the club moved to the newly built Tetbury Leisure Centre, now part of Sir William Romney’s school, and has grown into one of the larger clubs in the Cotswolds.

Unfortuntely due to a recent closure of the leisure centre at Sir William’s school, the club has been forced to relocate to the leisure centre at Katharine Lady Berkeley’s school for at least the first half of the winter 2019/2020 season.

We have a wide range of members from teenagers to 70-somethings but always welcome new members, so if you’re interested in coming along please Please switch on JavaScript to see our email address.

If you are looking for competitive badminton, we run several teams in the following leagues (subject to League confirmation and club membership numbers):

  • Gloucestershire Ladies
  • Mid-Gloucestershire Mixed
  • Swindon Mens

If you’re interested in playing in a team just ask anyone at the club and they’ll point you in the direction of the team captains.
