2019/2020 Winter Season Begins
After a very successful summer club the winter season kicks off on the 2nd of September this year with a new venue.
Unfortunately the leisure centre at the usual venue, Sir William Romney’s school, closed over the summer so the club has been forced to relocate to the leisure centre at Katharine Lady Berkeley’s school. While outside of Tetbury, it is a short drive and offers four modern courts. To try and help everyone save on fuel costs we’ll be looking to start a lift share.
Following the success of the training last season, we’ll be running another round at the start of this season:
- Monday 9th and 16th September will have beginner level coaching
- Mondays 23rd and 30th September will have coaching for intermediate/advanced level players looking to improve their game
We’ve entered a men’s team in the Swindon league and no doubt we’ll run a few more of our highly popular social evenings. We’re also happy that we’ve managed to fend off a rise in membership fees for yet another season!
Whether you’re new to badminton or an experienced player we encourage you to come on down to the club. We have players of all ages and abilities so you’ll be more than welcome.
We look forward to seeing you on court soon!
